Levelling systems for tiles
The term “levelling” means creating an even surface. Levelling systems are useful aids particularly when laying tiles. They compensate for height differences, provide for uniform joint widths and prevent high spots in the covering.
WEDGE SYSTEMS
The BLANKE LEVITO starter set consists of T-shaped pulling plates, tension wedges and a collet chuck which can be adjusted according to the tile thickness. The ideal clamping distance is determined by setting the tile thickness on the collet chuck. Using the collet chuck, the T-shaped pulling plates are pressed against the tile from below so that the tiles are aligned to the exact height on the upper side.
SCREW SYSTEMS
The BLANKE LEVITO SPIN is an aid used to prevent high spots, especially when laying large format tiles and slabs. The screw system can be used without additional tools. The BLANKE LEVITO spincaps and threaded lugs are required for the installation.
