Underfloor heating for bathrooms – ideal with BLANKE PERMATOP SF SPA

BLANKE PERMATOP SF SPA is an underfloor heating system specially developed for bathrooms and wet rooms with an extremely low installation height. The system combines reliable waterproofing, effective decoupling and fast construction times – ideal conditions for modern bathroom and wellness areas. A key feature is installation in combination with the self-adhesive waterproofing system BLANKE DISK. This ensures standards-compliant waterproofing of the floor while simultaneously providing a decoupling effect. Stresses from the substrate are reduced, which is particularly important in wet rooms exposed to fluctuating temperature and moisture loads.

BLANKE FILLOCREED – fast-curing energy distribution layer for efficient bathroom projects

Another key advantage for bathroom applications is the fast-curing, self-levelling energy distribution layer BLANKE FILLOCREED. It enables particularly short construction times: waterproofing can be applied after just 12 hours, followed immediately by tile installation. Long drying times, as typically required with conventional underfloor heating systems, are eliminated. Thanks to the low system height of only 15 mm (10 mm pipe) or 19 mm (14 mm pipe), BLANKE PERMATOP SF SPA is ideally suited for bathroom renovation and refurbishment projects. The system can be installed directly on existing floor coverings, significantly reducing demolition work, dust and noise. In combination with tile or natural stone coverings, the underfloor heating system provides efficient heat transfer and a pleasant indoor climate – perfect for permanently warm bathroom floors.

Minimal installation height

This system has an overall height of only 15 mm (10 mm pipe) or 19 mm (14 mm pipe), including BLANKE DISK. It is ideally suited for projects where limited installation height poses a challenge.

No demolition required

The BLANKE PERMATOP SF SPA complete system is installed directly on the existing floor. Demolition work, which would otherwise involve significant dirt and effort, is therefore unnecessary.

Fast installation

Thanks to the hook-and-loop technology, installation is flexible and, above all, time-saving. The heating circuits can be adjusted at any time during installation.

Fast and flexible installation

Unlike conventional dry construction systems, BLANKE PERMATOP SF SPA is not restricted to a fixed installation grid. The heating pipe is securely fixed to the self-adhesive fibre mesh mat using hook-and-loop technology and can be flexibly adjusted or corrected during installation. After the pipes have been laid, the fast-curing, self-levelling energy distribution layer BLANKE FILLOCREED is applied. It allows for short drying times and rapid further processing: after just 12 hours, the waterproofing membrane BLANKE DISK can be applied, and the tiles can then be installed immediately without any additional waiting time. The result is a thin-layer, efficiently heated and standards-compliant waterproof floor build-up – ideal for bathrooms and wet rooms.

No demolition required

BLANKE PERMATOP SF SPA is installed directly on the existing floor covering. Extensive removal of the substrate is not required, helping to reduce additional costs. Especially in bathroom and renovation projects, this installation method significantly reduces dust, noise and moisture compared to conventional screed systems. As a result, renovations can be carried out efficiently without severely restricting living spaces for extended periods.
