SMART HOME SOLUTIONS

The smart home sector is the market of the future. 88.2% of all German households are connected to the internet, but only about 15% currently use smart home applications. Smart home systems not only mean greater well-being and convenience, but also a high potential for saving energy in your home. By letting you control heating, security, lighting or shading quickly and simply, smart home technology offers you a convenient and simple way to manage the various applications that accompany you throughout your everyday life. The Blanke system is easy to install. With its modular expandability, it introduces you to the world of smart homes in a flexible and uncomplicated way.

BLANKE CONTROL 230

The BLANKE CONTROL 230 system is the wired individual room control in a modern design. All components of this classically wired individual room control can be used both independently and in a system. By combining the controllers and basic variants to form an individual room control system, simple as well as complex requirements for heating applications only can be implemented. This system is particularly suitable for public buildings or facilities.

Would you like to know more about smart home solutions?

Do you have underfloor heating and want to make optimal use of it? No problem with Blanke’s smart home solutions. We supply everything you need to make your heating control smart. On the go via app, in the house via touch thermostat or in conjunction with additional devices.

Installation of the BLANKE SMART HOME HEATING CONTROLLER

To install the BLANKE SMART HOME control components, the room control devices must be attached to the wall. These room control devices are radio-based and run on batteries, which has a decisive advantage: you do not need a specialist electrician for installation. The room control devices can either be screwed on or fixed to the wall with the included adhesive pads. The associated base unit is hooked into the prefabricated top-hat rail in the distribution cabinet. A 230V power connection must be provided in the distribution cabinet to supply the base unit with voltage. The base unit can be used for heating and cooling operations. A heating pump can also be connected directly to the base station, which enables optimal operation by the room control devices. If you also use the cooling function using the heat pump, the changeover contact can also be transferred directly to the base unit via the heat pump, which leads to automatic switching of the heating/cooling function. The cooling function can also be set manually.

Retrofitting the actuators

If you would like to use the Blanke Smart Home control system with an existing surface heating system, you can usually install the actuators later on the existing heating circuit distributors. To do this, check whether the existing thread has a dimension of M 30x1.5. In an emergency, you can also get adapters for different thread dimensions. The actuator is screwed onto the existing distributor using a valve adapter and the associated power cable is connected to the Blanke base unit. Our actuators have a so-called “first open function”, which allows a 10% valve opening. This means that the heating circuit can be operated without electricity being available. This allows you to start using the surface heating before the electrical connection is installed and you are not left out in the cold.

Teaching or connecting the room operating devices

The room operating devices are connected to the base unit on the room operating devices themselves. To do this, press the button on the room control unit and assign the room control unit to the corresponding heating circuit of the base station. You will find a “pairing button” on the base station. You press this until the correct channel is selected and then press the thermostat temperature selection button to carry out the assignment - everyone can do this!

The desired room temperature can then be set via the app or directly on the thermostat. Through the app you can control the heating from anywhere as long as there is an internet connection.

Smart Home operating devices - settings and modes

The room control devices can display the date, time and different heating programs. You can adjust these individually without having to purchase additional components. With the Blanke Smart Home solutions you get all functions in one system. For example, you can set summer or winter time, a holiday program or specific heating times.
