BLANKE DIBA-LINE is a drainage channel made of stainless steel with factory-applied, self-adhesive sealing flange. With one very low installation height of 54 mm (DN 40), with a sealing water height of 30 mm is suitable linear drainage, especially at low Construction heights (introduce old building area/renovation). The integrated connection piece for mounting of drain pipes with a push-in socket system is made of stainless steel.

The gutter with connection option DN 50 and a sealing water height of 50 mm has a construction height of 72 mm. It is 60 cm long -180cm available. The drain performance of the BLANKE DIBA-LINE linear drainage achieves a drainage performance of 37 l/min (0.61 l/s). BLANKE DIBA-LINE 2.0 is a stainless steel drainage channel with a factory-applied BLANKE DIBA waterproofing flange. With a very low installation height of 54 mm and a length of 0.6 m, this linear drainage system is particularly suitable for low construction heights. The integrated connection socket (DN 40) for accommodating drainage pipes with a socket system is also made of stainless steel. The BLANKE DIBA-LINE 2.0 linear drainage system, featuring a secondary drainage level and a drainage capacity of 37 l/min (0.61 l/s), is a component of the BLANKE DIBA waterproofing system.

There's no showering pleasure without water, but if the water doesn't drain properly or at all, trouble is inevitable. For a five-minute shower, that's at least 75 liters, which usually occurs in an area of one square meter. Over the year, a family of three consumes 82,125 liters. These large amounts of water “stress” the shower floor and the drain equally. For this reason alone, special attention must be paid to functionally reliable drainage.

The BLANKE DIBA-LINE 2.0 has a drainage capacity of 37 l/min and is therefore one of the gutters with high drainage capacity. You can also remove the siphon for cleaning so that perfect cleaning is possible at any time. The factory-applied BLANKE DIBA seal also ensures a reliable seal.

Requirements for drainage channels

First of all, the facts: The linear drainage not only has to function technically flawlessly and permanently, but it must also be integrated into the existing or installed waterproofing. Floor drains or gutters must be drained in such a way that water cannot accumulate on the sealing level. A second drainage level is required here. Point or linear drainage systems with factory-applied sealing flange are recommended. This means security is particularly high. In addition, it is important to ensure that the flange is dimensioned sufficiently large. Especially when installing a linear drainage system in the immediate vicinity of a wall, it is difficult to connect the gutter body to the existing seal if the sealing flange is too small. Ideally, the drainage systems are part of the waterproofing system.

Leak-free connection

The connection of the shower channel to the drainage system must function absolutely leak-free. For this purpose, it is imperative that the drain connection, including its dimensions, is matched to standardized wastewater pipes for the shower drain area in accordance with DIN 1986-4.
